Dahi Soya Methi Matar Sabji

Ingredients

  • 1 cup soaked soya chunk pieces

  • 1 cup freshly cut methi

  • 1 cup peas (matar)

  • ½ cup thick yoghurt

  • 2 tbsp oil

  • 1 tsp cumin seeds

  • 8-10 finely chopped garlic cloves

  • 2-3 finely chopped green chillies

  • 2 medium finely chopped onions

  • 1 tbsp coriander powder

  • 1 tsp cumin powder

  • 1 tsp red chilli powder

  • ¼ tsp turmeric powder

  • 2 tsp garam masala powder

  • 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste

  • ½ cup fresh cream

  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.

  2. Add cumin seeds, garlic, and green chillies, and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  3. Add onions and sauté until they turn slightly brown.

  4. Stir in coriander powder, cumin powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, 1 tsp of garam masala powder, and ginger-garlic paste.

  5. Mix well and cook for a minute.

  6. Add cream, yoghurt, green peas, soya chunks, and salt. Mix well and add the remaining garam masala powder.

  7. Cook until the soya chunks and green peas are cooked through.
